Prague Please

You want atmospheric scenery? Stay in the Old Town? You want seedy and fun? Stay in New part? Great atmosphere? Go at Christmas? Late nights boozing and people watching? You guessed it, summer.

mmmm….warm wine sipped while aimlessley wandering through the orange streets on a winter’s night. Being drawn into strange bars and restaurants by the glow from the candles in the windows. Oh yeah, Prague, I have happy memories of you my friend.

Sicily too hot for you

Sicily was scorching. Go in August and you will get burnt, I don’t care how dark your skin is. Scenary was stunning. Dry scorched earth, mountains, sea, golden sand. Food was great, pizza and ice ceram to live for. If you want a great time in a great location, then go now. Not lively mind you so if it’s clubs and partying you wanyt try somewhere else. Here is a site for you to get some more info about Sicily from.

Milan – Should You Go

I went to Milan. It was great. Milan gets a bit of a bad press sometimes as a little bit boring. Far from it. Hook up with some locals like I did and you’ll have a ball. Nice compact city. Air conditioned underground system was wort a visit just to cool down. Relax in the park. It’s great. Here’s a guide for you http://www.lonelyplanet.com/italy/milan.

Vote for the 2 day week for London

Have you been to London? Do you know that if you have visited there as a tourist then you have probably seen more of the sites that a Londoner.

Londoners always seem to rush about, busy working and on days off just want to stay local. Who fancies going back in to Central London on the weekend after spending all week commuting there?

Such a shame isn’t it as there is so much to see.

The solution. Petition the mayor, Boris Johnson, to make London the only City in the world where people work a two day week, but get paid the same amount as the rest of the country. A 5 day weekend sounds so good. Obviously the economy might suffer, but let’s face it, it is suffering anyway, a bit more wouldn’t make too much difference sureley. Or even better how about the Bank of England subsidising it. They have pumped loads into the economy, how about pumping it directly into your wallet?

I’m up for it. Are you?
